Do not succumb to fear. Refuse to become a part of the problem. Do your best to refrain from perpetuating fear and anxiety. Find self-awareness in your desire to control outcomes, start to realize you never really had control to begin with, take a few deep breaths and let it go. Take time to inventory the gifts you’ve been given. Try to shift your internal focus toward the external – how might you use your gifts to help someone else more vulnerable? Then follow through. Reflect on how that felt. Repeat. May God’s peace be with you.
